After more than a year of lockdown, the Nittany Knights emerged from hibernation on Monday, May 3, with an evening of pizza, cake and catching up.

Blowing a year's worth of dust off our vocal cords, we revisited some of our favorite songs and resolved to get back to our standard of excellence, and surpass it, in the coming year.

Although no public performances are yet scheduled until September 24th (at the Lemont Village Green), we will be returning to our weekly rehearsal schedule, Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at South Hills School of Business and Technology in State College.  As always, we welcome visitors and auditions.

Congratulations to Mike Andriaccio for being recognized as 2020 Barbershopper of the Year !!!!  Mike was recognized for his efforts to keep all the Knights connected during the pandemic, by managing online social activities via Zoom. Needless to say, the Nittany Knights were unable to meet in person for the past year. Thanks to Mike's efforts, we maintained our friendships and look forward to singing together very soon.

Through the generous stewardship of the Centre Foundation, non-profit organizations local to State College, PA are provided the opportunity to receive donations through the Centre Gives campaign.  This May 8th and 9th, patrons of a capella harmony helped the Nittany Knights raise more than $2800 to support our mission of providing a capella instruction and performance to the public as well as vocal music educational and financial support to local youth.

Thanks for your generosity in supporting the important mission of the Centre Foundation and ultimately to our very own organization.
