Holiday Concert to Benefit Interfaith Human Services
Date: Monday, December 2, 2019
Time: 7 pm
Location: Trinity Lutheran Church, 2221 North Oak Lane, State College
The Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus will perform a benefit concert in support of Interfaith Human Services of Centre County (IHS) on December 2, at 7 pm, at Trinity Lutheran Church in State College. IHS works to help low-income residents of the community gain financial stability through various programs that guide and educate families and individuals.
“Our church has worked with Interfaith many times, and it is an organization that does much-needed work in the community, and does it well,” said Paul Wagner, a member of Grace Lutheran Church and also of the Nittany Knights. “We’re pleased to be able to help them in this way, and to offer some entertainment and holiday spirit to the community at the same time.”
The Nittany Knights Chorus is the local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at 7:00 at the South Hills School of Business and Technology in State College, and welcomes visitors.
All are invited to the concert. Free-will donations will be accepted at the door.
